Dr Arushi Garg – Senior Consultant (Ophthalmology)

Dr Arushi Garg is a prolific cataract, cornea and LASIK surgeon, having performed more than a 1000 cataract surgeries. She is trained in the micro-phaco and Robotic Cataract surgery (Femto-cataract) techniques, and advanced techniques of corneal transplant surgery.

After her MS (Ophthalmology) from GNEC, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, she did senior residency at GNEC, where she was also a trainer for phacoemulsification for new ophthalmologists. Then she went on to complete her long term fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru, where she learnt Contoura LASIK, Bladeless LASIK and SMILE from the world famous LASIK surgeon, Dr Rohit Shetty and renowned Cornea specialist, Dr Himanshu Matalia. She worked there as a consultant thereafter. Then she did a clinical fellowship in Ocular Surface Disorders from Shroff Charity Eye Centre, New Delhi, from the inventor of SLET (corneal limbal stem cell transplant) Dr Virender Singh Sangwan. She has multiple publications and has presented extensively in national and International conferences.
